Dhuha is a journalism student at City, University of London, where she is currently completing the final year of her undergraduate degree. She has recently embarked on a year-long study abroad in Hong Kong, gaining valuable community journalism experience while learning how to navigate a hectic newsroom and deal with key issues affecting media professionals worldwide.

There, Dhuha learned about the key impact that the financial world has on societies and was inspired to pursue a career in financial news reporting.
Previously, Dhuha freelanced for a few publications, including as a reporter and deputy-chief editor for Hong Kong Baptist University’s official news outlet, The Young Reporter. In addition to her experience in writing, Dhuha has adequate skills in broadcast journalism, social media management, and shorthand.

Outside of work, Dhuha enjoys reading both fictional and non-fiction novels, going on walks in London, cafe-hopping, and hanging out with her friends and family.
She has working knowledge of Arabic.

Valeria Camerino

Valeria is a seasoned business and financial journalist with fifteen years of industry experience.

Before launching Equity Report in October 2022, Valeria was European Editor for US-based financial news service CTFN, where she spent seven years reporting on event-driven situations, breaking news stories on complex financial and regulatory issues across several jurisdictions, from Europe and Africa to China, India, Brazil, and Australia.

Prior to that, she was Senior Reporter at TelecomFinance, Middle East correspondent, and later Southern Europe correspondent at Mergermarket (currently ION), and held a number of editorial positions with Dubai and London-based b2b publications.

She holds a BA (Hons) in Languages and Public Relations from Leeds Beckett University and an MA in International Journalism from University of Central Lancashire.
